I am now the proud front counter girl at the most adorable little flower shop. Its a whole new world for me and its so fun to be around all the beautiful flowers and decorations all day. I answer phones, take orders, blow up balloons, put gift and snack baskets together, help make corsages, help put out the new items and decorate the shop, unload the shipments of plants, put them in baskets and then shine them up and put a bow on them when they need to be delivered, run to the wholesaler and pick up flowers....all sorts of fun stuff!
The first week I started working was homecoming week, and we were SO busy making homecoming corsages...not the typical wrist corsage you might be thinking of....the traditional southern homecoming corsages are HUGE!!! I took a picture of one next to a wreath you would hang on your door so you can see just how huge they are! The bigger the longer the gaudier the better!!
But I did get to make my first normal corsage last week...isn't it cute....
Also....I planted this :)
It's cute cutecute!!!! Looks so fun! And I think my arm might fall off is I were to wear one of those corsages!!! Hah!

ReplyDeleteOoh hahahaha!!! I forgot about that. Lately you put it on your wrist... BUt still Ithink my dress might fall off with that huge thing on it!!!! Haha!
